The Club
Red Bull Bragantino is an up-and-coming football club from
Bragança Paulista in the Brazilian state of São Paulo. The club
was founded in 1928 and enjoyed great sporting success in the
early 1990s, winning the São Paulo state championship and
finishing as runners-up in the Brazilian championship.
In 2019, Red Bull decided to expand its involvement in Brazilian
professional football and joined Bragantino. The project aims to
promote young talent and establish the club at the top of
Brazilian football in the long term. The team subsequently
returned to Série A and, from 2020, competed in Brazil's top
division under the name Red Bull Bragantino.
At the same time, Red Bull took over the training centre in
Brazil, which now functions as a development team –
comparable to the youth model within other Red Bull clubs.
The club enjoyed a rapid sporting resurgence: by 2021, Red Bull
Bragantino had already reached the final of the Copa
Sudamericana, attracting international attention.

The City
is located north of the metropolis of São Paulo. The municipality
was founded in the mid-19th century and today has a population
of just under 180,000. The urban area covers just over 500 square
kilometres and combines urban zones with plenty of green space
in the surrounding area.
Since the 1960s, Bragança Paulista has had the status of a climatic
health resort, thanks to its special climatic location in the hills. The
region has a pleasant, tropical highland climate with an average
annual temperature of around 22 degrees. Regular rainfall
ensures that nature and the surrounding area remain lush
throughout the year.
The city is a regional centre for trade, services and leisure. Lago do
Taboão is particularly well known – a popular meeting place for
sports, culture and recreation. Its proximity to São Paulo also
makes Bragança Paulista an attractive place to live and visit.
